Thank you for visiting our website. This document outlines the Terms of Service (“Agreement”) for Doctor Dust Cleaning’s website. It is a legally binding contract between our company, visitors, users, and customers. If you do not agree with these terms, or are under the age of 18, please do not use this website or book our services.

We reserve the right to amend or change our Terms of Service at any time. By continuing to use our website and services, you agree to these provisions. Our Privacy Policy is separate from this Agreement.

For purposes of this Agreement, “Doctor Dust Cleaning” may also be referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” The customer may be referred to as “you” or “your.”

Doctor Dust Cleaning is not the employer of the house cleaner referred to you. We refer highly vetted local cleaners to our customers.

Doctor Dust Cleaning provides professional residential, commercial, and specialist cleaning services.

When booking online, you will be prompted to provide your contact details and select your required service. We also need to know the size of the premises, number of bathrooms, and any other relevant details. Please note: all bookings have a one to two-hour arrival window to accommodate potential delays. Pricing updates will be posted on our website and/or communicated by email.

Confirmation: Booking a cleaning online does not automatically confirm the requested date/time. One of our team will contact you via email or phone to confirm your appointment.

We schedule jobs to minimise travel time between appointments. While we do our best to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee them.

The customer is expected to be on-site unless alternative arrangements have been made (e.g., key access or code). If we are unable to gain access, a lockout fee of 50% of the booking total will apply for one-time cleans. For recurring cleans, the lockout fee is £80.

Arrival Window: A 1–2 hour arrival window applies. If we’re running behind, we will contact you via call or text.

We accept payment by credit/debit card via our website or over the phone. All major UK cards are accepted. Your card will not be charged until the clean has been completed.

Recurring Services: Customers on weekly, fortnightly, or monthly plans will be billed automatically after each clean. By signing up, you authorise us to charge the card on file after each service.

Financial Responsibility: You are financially responsible for all charges related to services rendered by Doctor Dust Cleaning, including any legal or collection costs for unpaid amounts.

We do not offer refunds as we pride ourselves on delivering quality service. However, if you are unhappy, please contact us within 48 hours of your clean and we will resolve the issue with a follow-up visit free of charge.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for reasons including safety concerns, the presence of aggressive pets, hoarding, or hazardous conditions.

• 24-Hour Notice: You must give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid a £80 cancellation fee.

• Same-Day Cancellations or Lockouts: If notice is not given, or we are unable to gain access, the £80 fee applies.

• Our cleaners may leave if the environment is unsafe or extremely unsanitary. In these cases, the £80 fee still applies.

• If your premises are secured with an alarm, please disable it or provide codes ahead of time.

• Doctor Dust Cleaning is not liable for any loss or damage if you leave a key in an unsecured location (e.g., under a mat).

• All keys in our possession will be returned within 48 hours of cancellation or termination of services.

If you ask us to use your own vacuum or supplies, we are not liable for any damage or malfunction. If the equipment is unusable on the day, and you do not allow our cleaner to use theirs, some areas may remain uncleaned.

• Green Products: If you require eco-friendly products, let us know beforehand.

• Your Products: Have your products ready and accessible before our arrival.

• We do NOT clean:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Hoarding environments

  • Bodily fluids, faeces, vomit, cat litter trays, or bird cages

Limited Liability: Doctor Dust Cleaning is not responsible for damage or harm caused by the customer’s cleaning products or equipment.

Our team does not:

• Lift items over 15kg (35lbs)

• Work outdoors

• Climb higher than a step stool

Please move large furniture or appliances yourself beforehand if you want us to clean behind them.

Although our team takes every precaution, accidents can happen. Please report any breakage or loss within 24 hours.

We are not responsible for:

• Items not disclosed as fragile or irreplaceable

• Poorly installed fixtures or décor

• Wear and tear damage

Let us know in advance how you’d like fragile items handled.

You agree not to solicit or directly hire our cleaners for private work during service and for 1 year after your final clean with us.

This agreement may only be modified with written consent from an authorised Doctor Dust Cleaning representative.

You may only use our website for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Copy or steal our content

• Use bots or scraping tools

• Frame or manipulate site layout

• Spam our services

• Harass our staff or users

• Tamper with site security

• Opt-Out Keywords: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOP, STOPALL

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any clause is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement remains in effect.

By using our services, you acknowledge that digital signatures have the same legal weight as handwritten ones.
